The Midnight Bargain by C.L. Polk | Bridgerton Meets Magic?!
The Midnight Bargain is my first ARC review of the year, and I couldn’t have done it at a better time! Oh, my goodness! It reminded me of the Bridgerton Netflix series so much, and I loved it. I had just finished watching the series, so I was totally into the whole Regency-era setting. It was perfect! Courting, balls, fashion, and romance… And magic! Here’s my review.

Dreaming of my Future Home
I cannot wait to move out of my childhood home. At 24 years old, I just feel like I’m ready! I’ve been dreaming about my future home for years, and I just can’t wait for them to become a reality! I’ve been applying for apartments for over a year now, and I’ve collected quite a few items for what my fellow Dutchies call ‘uitzet’. In today’s post, I’m sharing my hopes, dreams, and ideas for my future home. I’m so excited!

Blood & Honey by Shelby Mahurin | The Perfect Example of a Filler Book
Blood & Honey was one of my most anticipated sequels of 2020. I was so excited when I finally found the time to listen to the audiobook this year! Unfortunately, it let me down – big time. As the title states, it’s the perfect example of a filler book; one smacked right in the middle of a trilogy. It was enjoyable enough to listen from start to finish, but when thinking long and hard about it for this review, I found only a few positive things to say. Here’s my two-star review.

Gemstones & Crystals | Sharing My Jewelry Collection
I’ve always had a bit of an interest in gemstones and crystals. My aunt gifted me one when I was little I treasured it until I – unfortunately – damaged and eventually lost it. I barely remember what it looked like now and I have no idea what gemstone it was, and what kind of abilities it had. Nevertheless, it sparked my interest in these beautiful crystals. Over the past few years, I’ve acquired quite a collection of jewelry with gemstones; either simply because of how pretty they are or for their healing properties. I thought it’d be fun to share them with you today!

Reading Necessities | The Things I Can’t Read Without
It will come as no surprise that reading is my favorite way to pass time. I mean, what else’s a girl gotta do, right? Especially during a lockdown. Even though I can read anywhere at any time, my workspace / little home library is my preferred place to read. It has everything I need to get cozy, wrap myself in a blanket and just start reading for hours on end. Recently, I asked myself ‘what – besides the books – makes me love reading so much?’ Here’s my answer.

Books I Need to Read in ’21
A few weeks ago, I wrote about my most anticipated releases of 2021. I’m so excited about these books to come out! However, I really do need to start reading the unread books on my bookshelf as well. There are so many of them, it drives me insane! I was always the kind of person to finish an unread book before I bought another. Unfortunately, I’ve been behind for years now, and that needs to change. Here’s the books I want/need to read in 2021!

Tiny Plant Friends | Meet My Tiny Plants!
I love plants. I love them so much, in fact, that my first non-bookish post was about plants! Ever since I got my first English Ivy sometime early last year, both my bedroom and workspace have pretty much become an urban jungle. I wouldn’t even be surprised if I bought more plants than books last year – no, I’m not kidding! I love them big, small, green, colorful, in all shapes and sizes… In today’s post; my tiny plant friends!

Queen of Volts by Amandy Foody | More Like Queen of Wrecking My Heart
Oh. My. Gosh! I’ve been putting off writing this review for way too long. First of all, because I suck at writing reviews – especially when I’m out of practice – and second of all because Queen of Volts has utterly wrecked my heart. Like, my heart actually hurts when I think of how much I both love and hate this book. My love for this series started way back in 2018 when I joined the blog tour, and I can’t believe we’re now at its end! I tried my best doing this book justice with my review… Enjoy!

My 5 Most Anticipated Releases of 2021
I haven’t been reading very much lately; I didn’t complete my Goodreads challenge in 2020 and my physical TBR only grew, and grew, and grew… I felt entirely out of loop with new book releases – especially ones further into the future. I decided I’d do some research on Goodreads and guess what? There’s so many books I’m looking forward to! For the sake of this post, I thought and pondered on what are actually my most anticipated books of 2021. So here it is – in no particular order – my top 5!

Happy New Year | This Will Be My Best Year Yet!
Hey there! Hiya! Hello! Yes, yes, I’m still very much alive and breathing. I can’t remember the last time I blogged and I’m over a week late, but… HAPPY NEW YEAR! Last year sure was quite something, huh? I feel weird when I say 2020 was almost my best year so far – if it wasn’t for Covid. We’re not in the clear yet and it breaks my heart that my country’s in lockdown at the start of the year, but I’m trying to make the best of it! I know most things don’t really go according to plan, and we have no clue what 2021 brings, but I want…
