My Most Anticipated 2020 YA Releases

I’ve never had more unread books on my shelf than I have today. For real, guys! I have always been someone who only bought new books whenever I finished my unread books or was close to finishing one. Then Amazon’s Black Friday sale happened and well… Now I’m overwhelmed by my bookshelf on a regular basis. There’s so much to read, so what do I pick up first?! Usually a book that has just recently been released. Uhm, yeah, you got that right; I’ll now forever be overwhelmed by the huge amount of unread books on my bookshelf. I’ll get to them one day, after reading my most anticipated new releases! I decided to turn them into a list, so here it goes..!

Queen of Volts by Amanda Foody. I’m making this list super random, starting with this final instalment of The Shadow Game series. Oh my freaking gosh, I LOVE Ace of Shades. I really don’t want to say goodbye to all these amazing characters and Amanda’s incredible writing, but I also can’t wait to see how it ends?!

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab. Uhm. I didn’t think I’d ever be so obsessed over a book that has no official synopsis or a cover. YET HERE WE ARE. Everyone probably knows I love Victoria and her books and I’ve just been so excited reading her tweets about the book!

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare. If you think I can just turn my back on the Shadowhunter books after reading like a billion of them, you’re WRONG. I know there are a lot of them, and they’re all humongous tomes, but oh my dear lord it’s set in Edwardian London and the cover is gorgeous and man, I’m glad it’s March soon.

Ruthless Gods by Emily A. Duncan. Wicked Saints was so different from anything I’d read in a long, long time, and I loved it! It ended on such a cliffhanger, I can’t wait to see how it continues! I’ve requested an ARC, so fingers crossed, I guess…

Blood & Honey by Shelby Mahurin. Okay, so I only finished Serpent & Dove this morning and OH BOY, it’s so, so good! At first I was like ‘oh, hey, this is fun’ but that has turned into this OBSESSION and asdfghjkl I need more. MORE!!! Also, it ended on a cliffhanger. AAAHHH!

Bookish & the Beast by Ashley Poston. I’m 100% Geekerella trash. One. Hundred. Percent. I’ve listened to the audiobook multiple times, then read a digital galley with bonus for a review (read it here) and then obviously I read book two and then THERE’S GONNA BE A BOOK THREE?! Yes, please!

The Deck of Omens by Christine Lynn Herman. I remember reading The Devouring Gray in my backyard pool during one of the hottest weeks last summer and literally devouring it (hehe). It was totally different from what I expected, but I’m hooked! I’m so glad it’s getting a sequel!

Havenfall by Sara Holland. I loved, loved, LOVED Everless and Evermore and I’m so excited for something entirely new by Sara! And I actually get to read it early, as I’m reviewing it for the blog tour and I already cannot wait to share it with you guys.

What are your most anticipated releases for 2020? Anything you think I’d enjoy? I’d love your recommendations!
