Mid-Year Book FREAK OUT Tag 2020
Can you believe we’re halfway through the year already? This first half of 2020 has been the absolutely craziest. It gives me a weird feeling in my stomach just thinking about it! The year started off great in terms of reading, but with everything that happened so far, I’m now seven (!!!) books behind on my challenge of 50 books! I’ve got some catching up to do, but let’s dive into this tag first, shall we?

THE QUEER EYE BOOK TAG!
I thought about doing a book tag and found it didn’t exist yet. CAN YOU BELIEVE? Because I certainly can’t. You might’ve noticed my slight “obsession” with Queer Eye on Netflix. In case you have no clue what I’m talking about: Queer Eye is a make-over reality show in which five gay guys – the Fab Five – makeover (usually) straight men. Each of these guys have a different area of expertise: food, fashion. grooming, design and culture. I definitely recommend you check it out because it’s absolutely incredible. Don’t worry if you haven’t seen it yet, this tag is made to be fun for everyone!

The Muffin Book Tag!
When I found out Sophie @ Books Like Wolves tagged me to do the Muffin Book Tag, I literally squealed! A MUFFIN BOOK tag?! Yes, please! Not only did I get to answer fun bookish, muffin-related questions, I also decided to bake some muffins for the photos! Basically, today was a muffin kind of day. Anyway, let’s get into the questions and – of course – my answers!

The Longest Book Tag
There’s three ways to go at this post title; It’s either a veeeeeery long tag, or it’s a tag about long books. Or maybe it’s a very long tag about very long books? You’ll see in a minute, because Annemieke @ A Dance With Books tagged me to do this and I happily oblige. I have a love-hate relationship with long books because I kinda love them but they can also intimidate me very much (I’m looking at you, Order of the Phoenix…) Anyway, let’s get on with it!

The Liebster Award & The Real Neat Blogger Award
EEEEEKK! I’m so excited! I was nominated for The Real Neat Blogger award by Sophie @ Books Like Wolves and then for the Liebster Award by Fanna @ Fannatality! I always feels so honoured being nominated for things like this and it means so much to me! I’d done the Liebster Award once before, but it’s been a while so of course I’m doing it again! Since both awards are essentially the same, I’ve decided to combine them!

Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag
When Emily @ AlwaysOpinionatedGirl asked on Twitter if anyone would like to be tagged in a Christmassy book tag, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! I haven’t done a tag in a while and I have less Christmassy posts scheduled than I’d like to, so this is a nice addition to what I’ve already lined up for you guys. Anyway, this is a bookish Naughty or Nice tag, and I can’t wait to answer the questions!

I Am Drowning In My TBR Pile Tag
Contrary to what the title of this post might make you believe, I’m actually not drowning in my TBR pile. Yeah, yeah, okay, I hear your gasps and shocks and… Oh please don’t pass out! My TBR isn’t all that big, not compared to most bookish people in the community, anyway. My TBR is more like a kiddy pool. I’m not very tall, but I wouldn’t drown in there! Anyway, Lara @ Words With Lara tagged me to do this, and I happily oblige!

Autumn Book Tag
Hi everybody! I hope you enjoyed the first week of my Autumn-ish posts last week. I had so much fun putting together all these posts and I’m going to keep publishing every Monday through Friday for the rest of the month. Tags are one of my favourite things to do, so I thought ‘If there’s no Autumn tag yet, I’ll create it myself!’ I didn’t have to, though, because I found this super fun Autumn Book Tag and I’ll be answering all the questions.

I Messed Up Book Tag
Oh, my goodness, you guys! I found the perfect tag! Unfortunately I have no idea who originally created this and I wasn’t tagged myself so I don’t have anyone to link back to, but I came across this one day and I just knew I had to do it. I mess up a lot when it comes to reading books. Reading English as a Dutchie is no big deal for me these days, but so many things can go “wrong” when translating or pronouncing words! I thought it’d be funny to answer the questions from the I Messed Up Tag, so here we go!

Bookish “This or That” Tag!
Laurie at Laurie’s Bookshelf tagged me in this Dutch bookish “This or That” tag and I’m so excited because these questions are so much fun! Since most of you don’t read Dutch (I envy you! Dutch sucks, hehe!), I translated the questions to English before I answer them. Have you ever wondered whether I prefer hardbacks or paperbacks? Or where I’d rather spend my time reading? Find out in this post!
